Construction of High-quality Deep Processing Industrial Base
Introduction: The project is arranged at two sides of special incoming railway of Xiangtan Iron & Steel Plant. The planned area is 5,000mu. The three main contents are mainly constructed:
1. Deep Processing Base: it is planned for processing of steel section bars and coated film plates, manufacturing of steel structures, production of steel pipes, sheet metal working, production of fasteners, production of steel wires and steel rope products, hot-rolled section bars and cold-bent section bars. Also, steel surface treatment and processing area and environmental management special zone will be developed;
2. Warehousing logistics base: it is planned to construct finance, network settlement and information service platforms, piping product supermarket, fastener product supermarket, and logistics channel construction projects like waterway, railway and road to form annual transport capacity of 20,000,000t; 3. Wharf construction: Tieniubu Phase 2 Water Transport Wharf will be constructed to realize the ship berthing capacity of 2,000t to 3,000t and a throughput of 2,000,000t.

Policy guarantee: The development planning of this project has already been completed. The land reporting and approval work and land acquisition and relocation work of Phase 2 are under progress.
Total investment: 1,250 million USD, mainly including plant construction costs, production equipment purchase and installation costs, engineering construction costs, etc.
