In order to enhance exchanges and mutual learning between Hunan University and renowned universities around the world, and to invite more outstanding international young scholars to come to our school for short-term study and scientific research exchanges, the "2026 China Government Scholarship International Summer School" program at Hunan University (hereinafter referred to as the "International Summer School"), funded by the China Scholarship Council, will soon begin its enrollment process. The International Summer School program is based on the University's advantageous disciplines offers short-term courses that combine academic depth with cultural characteristics relating to cutting-edge issues in China's development.
I. Program Introduction
1. Applicants must be undergraduate or postgraduate students as well as full-time teachers or young researchers of overseas universities or institutions.
2. The 2026 International Summer School program is divided into four sub-projects:
July 27th - August 9th: "Sharing Chinese Stories and Facilitating the Rural Revitalization Experience Camp"
August 1st - August 14th: "International Research and Study Program on Green Development and Biodiversity Conservation for Chinese and Korean Youth"
August 18th - September 1st: "Contemporary Urban and Rural Design Practice in China from the Perspective of Architectural Cultural Heritage" （For details, please login website: http://arch.hnu.edu.cn/info/1118/5812.htm）
October 12th - October 26th： "International Summer Training Camp for Innovation and Entrepreneurship"
3. The International Summer School courses will be taught through various forms such as classroom teaching，expert lectures, panel discussion, field visits, industry practice, and innovative applications.

4. The scholarship covers：tuition, on-campus accommodation and comprehensive medical insurance.
II. Application and Admission Methods
1. Registration is now accepted. Please click here to fill the form of Appendix 2 for registration and submit the form to the school contacts of the sub-project listed in Appendix 1.
2. Based on the applicant's qualifications those who are the best qualified will be admitted and notified by the school of the admission decision, while those applicants who are not selected will not be notified.
III. Other Items
1. Round-trip transportation and visa fees are at your own expense. The university will provide accommodation and meals uniformly and arrange the unified trip free of charge during the summer school days.
2. Applicants must ensure that all submitted materials are true and accurate. If any false information is found, the participation qualification will be immediately canceled and the right to pursue responsibility will be reserved.
