The Information Office of Hunan Provincial People's Government held a press conference in Changsha on September 16, 2026. It announced that the 12th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs will be held in Hengyang from September 22 to 24.

The forum will be hosted by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government, undertaken by the Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province, the CPC Hengyang Municipal Committee, and the Hengyang Municipal People's Government, and co-organized by the Hunan Entrepreneurs Friendship Association. The theme of the forum is "New Hub in Hunan, New Chapter in Business."

The forum is expected to bring over 1,000 participants, featuring high-level guests, strong representativeness, and broad coverage. It mainly includes: entrepreneur vice chairpersons from the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) , entrepreneur vice chairpersons of the China Chamber of Commerce for Private Enterprises, and representatives of directly affiliated chambers of commerce of ACFIC; top executives of "Top 500" enterprises including Fortune Global 500, China Top 500 Enterprises, and China Top 500 Private Enterprises; overseas Chinese entrepreneurs and leaders, and renowned Hunan entrepreneur representatives; relevant academicians and experts; heads of relevant financial institutions; representatives of domestic and overseas Hunan chambers of commerce and international chambers of commerce; and, representatives of private enterprises and chamber of commerce organizations within the province.

Hu Jianxin is deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the Hunan Federation of Industry and Commerce. He noted that the 12th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs is the first session held in the first year of Hunan's "15th Five-Year Plan" period (2026-2030). It will comprehensively showcase Hunan's development opportunities and growth potential, better pool the rich capital, industrial, and network resources of global Hunan entrepreneurs, and inject strong momentum into Hunan's economic development and industrial upgrading.
