
On June 30, the special exhibition "Dunhuang—A Great Cultural Treasure" opened at the Hunan Museum. Based on decades of significant research achievements from the Dunhuang Academy's "Digital Dunhuang" project, the exhibition features over 200 selected precious exhibits (sets). The exhibits include full-scale replica caves, fine mural reproductions, painted sculpture reproductions, Dunhuang unearthed artifacts, and ancient documents. The exhibition comprehensively showcases Dunhuang's splendid civilization shaped by over a millennium of diverse cultural integration, coexistence, inclusiveness, and innovative development.
