During the National Day holiday, Hunan's ports welcomed a peak in entry-exit traffic. The Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection revealed on October 8 that from October 1 to 7, Hunan's ports handled nearly 40,000 entry-exit trips, an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year.

During the National Day holiday, Hunan ports saw over 20,000 inbound and outbound trips made by mainland residents, an increase of 21.6% over the same period last year. Hong Kong and Macao residents accounted for over 450 trips, up 26.2% year on year; and Taiwan compatriots made more than 320 trips, an increase of 3.2 times. In particular, mainland residents traveled mainly to Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. Changsha Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station handled more than 25,000 inbound and outbound trips, up 15% over the same period last year, with nearly 80% made by mainland residents.

Inbound foreign tourism remained highly popular. The "Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area" once again took center stage in inbound tourism, with its scenic calling card continuing to win over visitors. During the National Day holiday, South Korean visitors accounted for 81.5% of inbound foreign travelers, unchanged from the same period last year. Zhangjiajie Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station handled more than 14,000 inbound and outbound trips, 97% of which were made by foreign nationals. Among inbound foreign tourists, 99.3% benefited from the unilateral visa-free policy and the 240-hour visa-free transit policy.

Currently, the construction of the "Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area" is accelerating and Changsha Huanghua International Airport and Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport have operated air routes to multiple countries and regions. The Hunan General Station of Immigration Inspection has scientifically allocated police forces and dynamically tracked information on key flights and passengers' arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth and orderly customs clearance during peak periods. In response to the growth in mainland resident passenger flows, Changsha Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station has dynamically adjusted inspection channels to ensure that Chinese citizens wait no more than 30 minutes in line for customs clearance. Zhangjiajie Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station, in light of the characteristics of inbound tourism, has introduced multilingual services so that guests from afar feel "at home at first sight and at ease everywhere."
