On August 17, SANY Group delivered its first batch of SKT110Ei pure electric autonomous mining trucks from the SANY Heavy Equipment Shenyang Industrial Park for overseas shipment. This is SANY's first autonomous mining truck project in South America, marking the official entry of Chinese autonomous mining technology into the Latin American market.

Grappling with a shortage of professional mining drivers and rising labor costs, clients are increasingly eager to turn to intelligent operations. SANY's delivery this time comprises autonomous mining trucks, dispatch systems, and operation and maintenance services. Targeting the specific operation scenarios at overseas mining sites, the SANY team zeroed in on the critical challenges in safety, cost-effectiveness, and risk management. It has harnessed its integrated capabilities in equipment manufacturing, technological development, and field support to offer fully customized solutions.

This delivery of SKT110Ei pure electric autonomous mining trucks boasts high reliability, high uptime, and low energy consumption. Equipped with SANY's proprietary autonomous driving system, these trucks deliver significant cost savings and efficiency gains for mining operators. Since its establishment, SANY Intelligent Mining, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SANY Group and a frontrunner in the autonomous mining sector, has been committed to building "digital, green, and smart mines." With all core technologies independently developed, the company has established a comprehensive technological ecosystem—from wire-controlled chassis and multi-sensor fusion to AI algorithms and cloud-based dispatch platforms.

By July 2026, SANY Intelligent Mining has deployed more than 300 autonomous mining trucks across major open-pit mining operations in Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, and beyond. Its outcomes of safe operation for over 13 million kilometers and delivery of more than 41 million cubic meters of earth and rock stand as a testament to its technological and operational reliability. These trucks have been rigorously tested and proven across a wide range of demanding environments.
