The 8th China Grain Trading Conference, a national-level professional exhibition with great influence in China's grain industry, will be held from September 5 to 7 at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference will bring together grain-related government departments, enterprises, research institutions, and universities from across China to build a full-chain, high-level platform for exchange and cooperation in the grain industry.

Themed "Ensuring Food Security with Collective Efforts, Promoting Integration of Production and Sales for Development," the conference will focus on the high-quality development of the grain industry. It will feature six major events, namely the opening ceremony, exhibition of high-quality products and technical equipment, production and sales matchmaking and promotion, investment attraction and contract signing, special grain trading, and concurrent thematic activities. The events will cover the entire industrial chain of grain production, storage, processing, and consumption.

The exhibition is full of highlights, including the preface hall, consumption assistance for areas lifted out of poverty, high-quality grain and oil products, grain and oil machinery and equipment, international exhibition area, achievements in talent development from universities and colleges, scientific research achievements, financial services, food tasting, live-streaming interaction, and many other special areas. They will collectively showcase China's achievements in food security, high-quality grain and oil brands, advanced equipment and technology, and scientific research innovation achievements.

During the conference, the 6th National Exhibition and Trade Fair for High-quality Specialty Grain and Oil Products from Areas Lifted Out of Poverty will be held concurrently. The fair will promote specialty grain and oil products from these areas to help consolidate and expand the achievements made in poverty alleviation in coordination with the extensive drive for rural vitalization.

The conference is organized by the Grain Trade Coordination Center of the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, and undertaken by the Grain Industry Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Hunan Grain Trade Center. The China Agricultural Association for International Exchange jointly organizes the session. At present, all preparatory work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
