Recently, a batch of motor products for smart vehicles are ready for shipment at the Jianghua Yao Autonomous County High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Leveraging its competitive combination of "rare earth resources + green electricity across the entire region," the county has achieved chain-based, leapfrog development in motor industry cluster. Currently, more than 60% of the world's core motors for lawn mowers and air fryers are produced in this county. The "small motors" deep in the mountains are accelerating their reach across the globe.
At Hunan Guomeng Technology Co., Ltd., a soundproof room is set up next to every production line. Once the motor is powered on, employees first use their fingertips to gauge the vibration amplitude, and then press their ears close to listen carefully to the operating noise. Executive Deputy General Manager Zhao Wangdong explained that the pinnacle of quality control is hidden in the details. Whether the vibration causes numbness in hands and whether the sound is smooth are details that are difficult for machines to quantify, but human senses can capture them precisely. After refinement in such way, the yield rate exceeds 95%, and the noise is below 38 decibels, " even quieter than the sound of a mosquito flying past your ear." With monthly shipments of seven million motors on average, the company currently has become a stable supplier for many well-known brands. Beyond home appliances, Guomeng Technology has assembled a 40-member R&D team, collaborating with upstream and downstream supporting enterprises and Zhejiang University of Technology to tackle joint motors for humanoid robots. The company has secured a key technology project for humanoid robot motors that is supported by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province. It cooperates with a leading domestic embodied intelligence company with its products already in the small-batch testing stage.
Jianghua's motor industry is making a strong push into global markets. At Longbao Motor Industrial Park, 20 production lines are running at full capacity. The shaded-pole motors for air fryers produced by this enterprise have held a global market share of more than 65% for three consecutive years. Chairman Hu Zhibao noted that the company has proactively studied the electrical standards and working condition specifications in Europe, America, Japan, and the Republic of Korea, continuously tackling noise reduction, energy saving, and high-temperature resistance technologies. The company's products have entered the supply chains of many international brands and are exported to Europe, America, and the Middle East.
Currently, the Jianghua motor industry cluster is home to 116 enterprises, including five national-level "little giant" enterprises and 10 provincial-level single champion enterprises. The cluster has established a closed-loop, full industrial chain spanning "raw materials—core components—finished product applications," with 46 key production processes largely supplied by local suppliers.
