"Changsha will definitely attract more talent!" On August 11, 55 youth media representatives from seven African countries—Côte d'Ivoire, Comoros, the Central African Republic, Mauritania, Mauritius, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso—visited the Daze Lake International Talent Community in Wangcheng District. They got a firsthand look at how Changsha is drawing and building an international hub for global talent.

Upon entering the service platform hall of the Daze Lake International Talent Community, seven bilingual service windows are arranged in a row. Centered on a "one-stop" service platform for international talent, it has established a "10-minute talent service circle." The platform has integrated government resources from public security, human resources and social security, and taxation departments to achieve "one-window processing with full assistance." This truly allows international talent to "reduce the need for multiple visits." Since the platform began operating, it has issued 1,289 passports and Hong Kong/Macao travel permits, handled 131 various consultations, and hosted 34 events including a Spring Festival fair, AI entrepreneurship salon, and foreign language corner, covering over 100 international friends from 28 countries.

"I think Changsha's 'one-stop' service for international talent is fantastic and can attract more talent," shared Abderrahmane Beidouh, director of the Mauritanian news media Hala Tim News website. He gained a fresh understanding of Changsha's opening up during his first visit to the city, from the beautiful and comfortable urban environment to the innovative platforms like the talent community with comprehensive supportive services. "When I return, I will definitely write about my experiences here, so that more Mauritanians can learn about Changsha's efforts in talent services."

"Changsha has really impressed me," remarked Issoufou SARE, director of Burkina Faso Television Channel 1. From the gathering of domestic and international talent resources to the technology-empowered talent services, Changsha's openness and concrete efforts gave him new ideas about how to explore the integration of talent and city. He hoped to see more cooperation opportunities between Changsha and Africa in talent exchange in the future.

In recent years, Changsha has been pursuing the development of a global research and development center and a youth-friendly city, and the creation of a national platform for attracting talent. The city's talent retention index ranks ninth nationally and first in central China, and it has been selected as one of "the most attractive Chinese cities in the eyes of foreign talent" for six consecutive years. During this visit, what the young African media professionals witnessed here was not just a service experience, but a commitment to building a mutually beneficial relationship with global talent.
