On July 24, Chen Jing, vice governor of Hunan Province and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, met with Christian Zurbrüggen, president of Zurbrüggen Group from Germany, and his delegation.

Chen Jing welcomed the German entrepreneurs. He noted that in recent years, Changsha and Germany have continuously expanded and elevated cooperation, making Germany Changsha's largest trading partner in Europe. Currently, Changsha is in a critical period of expanding opening up and enhancing its export-oriented economy. With Germany's outstanding advantages in manufacturing technology, management, and experience, both sides share broad space and great potential in collaboration. Secretary Chen expressed his hope for more support from the entrepreneurs in promotion and publicity, bridge-building, and investment. He stated that Changsha will continue to foster a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized world-class business environment, providing high-quality services for the development of foreign enterprises in Changsha.

Christian Zurbrüggen thanked Changsha for the warm reception. He noted that Changsha boasts a superior business environment and strong development momentum, and expressed firm confidence and determination in developing in Changsha. He promised to actively introduce more high-end industrial projects and innovative talents, share development opportunities, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
