On June 30, the opening ceremony of the "Seminar on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Application Technology for Developing Countries" was held in Changsha. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, organized by the Hunan International Business Vocational College, and co-organized by the Hunan Jingfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Wu Shan, first-level principal staff member of the Market Development Division of the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province; Yu Minghua, vice president of the Hunan International Business Vocational College; and a trainee representative from Barbados delivered speeches respectively. A total of 28 trainees from four countries—Armenia, Grenada, Malaysia, and Barbados—attended the opening ceremony.

In her speech, Wu Shan noted that China enjoys profound friendship and close cooperation with developing countries, and has long promoted technological exchange and industrial collaboration within the framework of South-South cooperation to help countries tackle development challenges. She pointed out that this training program is an important practice of multilateral technological cooperation. She hoped to take this event as an opportunity to build an open and shared exchange platform, encourage mutual learning among trainees, and delve into effective pathways for applying UAV technology in various countries. She added that the event aimed to further deepen practical cooperation between China and the participating nations in the UAV sector, contributing scientific and technological support to the economic and social development of all countries.

In her remarks, Yu Minghua introduced the college's fruitful achievements in foreign-aid training programs. She noted that the college has long provided foreign-aid training to over 100 countries worldwide and has cultivated more than 10,000 international industrial professionals. This 21-day training program features a scientific and systematic curriculum, with thematic lectures delivered by an expert team of Hunan Jingfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a national specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise, and discussion sessions between trainees and local frontline engineers. In addition, trainees will visit UAV enterprises and industrial parks in Loudi to gain a close-up understanding of the complete chain of UAV R&D, production, and diverse applications. The college will spare no effort to ensure the quality of accommodation, teaching, and transportation services, creating a high-quality learning and living environment to ensure the training program achieves tangible results.

The trainee representative from Barbados expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce for establishing this transnational learning and exchange platform, and highly commended the Hunan International Business Vocational College and the Hunan Jingfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. for their meticulous preparations in curriculum design, faculty arrangements, and organizational support. She noted that UAV technology holds broad application prospects in driving industrial upgrading and improving livelihoods, and that this training will not only help enhance the individual professional skills of trainees but also inject new vitality into the industrial development of their respective countries. On behalf of all trainees, she pledged to cherish this learning opportunity, focus on studying the technology, actively participate in discussions, and enthusiastically share what they have learned. She also committed to strengthening mutual support and collaboration among participants to establish long-term, stable industrial connections.

This 21-day training program includes both theoretical lectures and field visits. Theoretical lectures will focus on the current development status of China's UAV industry, typical application scenarios and operational skills, and industrial innovation models. Field visits will include trips to the production base and industry-education integration base of Hunan Jingfei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., enabling trainees to observe the entire process of equipment production and operational demonstrations up close. The program will also incorporate cultural experience activities to help trainees systematically master UAV application technology while experiencing the achievements of China's high-tech industry and the unique charm of fine traditional Chinese culture.

This training program not only provides strong support for talent cultivation in the UAV sector in developing countries, but also serves as an important platform for deepening technical exchanges and cooperation between China and other nations in this field.
