In the first quarter of this year, Hunan's ports recorded nearly 400,000 entry-exit passenger trips and over 2,500 inbound and outbound flights, representing year-on-year increases of 16.4% and 7.5%, respectively. Malaysia has remained firmly the second most popular destination for Hunan residents traveling abroad. Starting this month, passengers can depart Changsha in the morning, stroll the streets in Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon, and enjoy the night view of the Petronas Twin Towers and explore Jalan Alor Food Street—Malaysia's most famous night market. For the return trip, they can leave for the airport in early afternoon and arrive in Changsha by evening.
A travel platform shows that ticket prices for the Changsha-to-Kuala Lumpur flight range from 135 CNY to 2,670 CNY, with the direct flight price on June 10 around 628 CNY to 710 CNY. A tourism insider indicated that the round-trip ticket prices between Changsha and Kuala Lumpur will remain relatively stable in the coming days, with a drop expected after August.
