Recently, two authoritative rankings in the global construction machinery sector for 2026 were released: the Yellow Table 2026 and the 2026 Top 50 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers. The former was published by International Construction magazine—a publication of the UK-based KHL Group, a leading global construction machinery information provider, and the latter was jointly released by CCM Media and the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry.

It was learned that 13 Chinese companies made it onto both lists, five of which are based in Changsha. They are SANY, Zoomlion, CRCC, Sunward, and Sinoboom. This once again underscores Changsha's standing in the global construction machinery industry.

Looking at the two lists together, the companies in this year's T50 list achieved steady growth. Taking the T50 list as an example, the total sales of the 2026 T50 companies reached 234.808 billion USD, an increase of 12.28 billion USD from the previous year's 222.528 billion USD, representing a growth rate of 5.52%. Chinese companies on the list played a leading role in this round of growth, with total sales reaching 48.847 billion USD, accounting for 20.80% of the T50's total sales.

In the global rankings of the Yellow Table list, five companies from Hunan Province made the list, accounting for 9.5% of the global market share and 45% of the national market share. All the five companies are based in Changsha.

As for specific rankings, the "Changsha force" performed exceptionally well on both lists. SANY ranked sixth globally on the Yellow Table with sales of 12.582 billion USD, unchanged from the previous edition. On the T50 list, it ranked fourth, moving up one spot from the previous edition. SANY has been the domestic market leader in excavator sales for 15 consecutive years and is the world's top brand in concrete machinery. Zoomlion ranked 11th on the Yellow Table with sales of 6.812 billion USD, up two spots from the previous edition. It ranked 9th on the T50 list, up one spot from the previous edition.

As globalization continues to advance, Changsha is playing an increasingly important role in the global industrial chain by leveraging its construction machinery industry cluster, technological expertise, and overseas expansion.
