Langshan Mountain, known as the "Soul of China's Danxia Landform," offers you a chance to marvel at nature's wondrous creation and lose yourself in the majestic beauty of the Danxia landscape. You can also savor local delicacies such as spicy braised duck in blood sauce and cured meat with blood-sticky rice cake, letting the flavors of southern Hunan linger on your palate. With the accelerated development of the "Zhangjiajie-Langshan-Guilin" tourism circle and the ongoing optimization of inbound tourism policies, Langshan Mountain in Xinning has become a popular destination for foreign tourists.

On May 2, after visiting Bajiaozhai, a key attraction in Langshan Mountain, a South Korean tourist remarked, "I made a special trip to Langshan Mountain. The natural scenery here is well-preserved, the views are breathtaking, and the environment is very pleasant—it completely exceeded my expectations."

In the first four months of this year, the Langshan Mountain Scenic Area received over 20,000 inbound tourist trips, already surpassing last year's total. Visitors from South Korea, Thailand, Laos, and other countries have been arriving one after another, making Langshan Mountain a popular destination where foreign tourists flock to take photos.

To make Langshan Mountain seen by the world, we must take the initiative to go global.

2025 is designated as the Year of Inbound Tourism Development in Hunan. While improving its unique offerings, Langshan Mountain is actively promoting itself overseas. The scenic area has deeply explored the charm of Danxia landform to create three premium itineraries: geological exploration, intangible cultural heritage experience, and sports and wellness.

Last spring, a promotional team from Langshan Mountain traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where they partnered with the largest local tour operator to bring in 5,000 tourists annually. In April of last year, Langshan Mountain made its debut at the Seoul International Travel Fair, using VR panoramic views to showcase the wonders of Danxia alongside sweet navel oranges, instantly capturing the hearts of Korean tourists.

Langshan Mountain has also partnered with Thai media, inviting hosts from Bangkok TV and others to visit the site and share the story of Langshan Mountain in Thai. It has also joined hands with Zhangjiajie and Guilin to develop the "Zhangjiajie–Langshan–Guilin" travel route, sharing international source markets and promoting their brands.

The visa-free entry policies have brought convenience, and the "Zhangjiajie-Langshan-Guilin" tourism circle is growing increasingly popular. Langshan Mountain welcomes visitors from around the world. Today, Langshan Mountain has partnered with numerous travel agencies in countries such as South Korea and Vietnam to launch high-end customized tours.

In spring, the first group of South Korean tourists entered China via Guilin and arrived at Langshan Mountain. The Danxia landform and canola flower fields created a picturesque scene, which enchanted these visitors. Israeli tourists took a bamboo raft ride on the Fuyi River and climbed Camel Peak. Their tour leader couldn't help but marvel at the breathtaking scenery, adding that the warm and sincere villagers and unique local customs left a deep impression on them. A Laotian delegation ascended Bajiaozhai to gaze upon the sea of clouds and towering peaks, repeatedly praising Langshan Mountain's spectacular scenery as perfect for sightseeing, recreation, and cultural trips.

This April, a South Korean travel agency delegation made a special trip to conduct a field inspection. The delegates noted that Langshan Mountain's Danxia landform is unique and majestic, offering a style distinct from Zhangjiajie yet complementary to it, making it highly attractive to South Korean tourists.

As the number of visitos continues to grow, Langshan Mountain is dedicated to improving its services and creating a tourist-friendly environment for international tourists.

The Langshan Mountain Scenic Area has launched a multilingual audio guide system in Chinese, English, Korean, and Japanese, and replaced signage at 40 key scenic spots with multilingual labels. Core attractions now feature full 5G coverage, allowing visitors to scan QR codes to access multilingual audio guides. Merchants within the scenic area are actively learning foreign languages, and many snack shop owners can warmly greet guests in Korean and English.

To address payment challenges for international visitors, Xinning has introduced the "Exchange Wallet" service, establishing a full-chain service network involving banks, currency exchange agencies, travel agencies, and tour guides. This service supports the exchange of multiple currencies, including the US dollar, South Korean won, and Thai baht, making payments more convenient.

After her visit, British tourist Kitina remarked that she had encountered a unique local culture in Langshan Mountain, noting the abundance of attractions, delicious cuisine, and the warmth and friendliness of the locals, which made her trip exceptionally enjoyable.

Langshan Mountain has also joined hands with Guilin Danxia to advance the construction of the "Zhangjiajie-Langshan-Guilin World Heritage Corridor." The initiative aims to deepen cooperation on reciprocal visitor flows, joint marketing, and itinerary development to facilitate smoother cross-provincial inbound tourism.

The Danxia landscape remains as ever, while overseas visitors continue to pour in. From actively reaching out to the world to warmly welcoming visitors; from enriching cultural and tourism products to upgrading supporting services, Langshan Mountain, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, is becoming a vital window for the province to connect with the global tourism market.
