In his speech, Governor Mao stated that continuing the "Intelligence Converges in Xiaoxiang, Talents Gather in Hunan" Initiative represents Hunan's concrete action to thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important speeches and directives regarding Hunan's work. The campaign serves as a vivid practice in writing a new chapter of the era for the saying, "The Kingdom of Chu, the home of talents." The governor noted that since the initiative was launched last year, Hunan has enhanced its reputation as a hub for attracting talents, sparked a wave of the youth choosing to stay in or move to Hunan, and gathered new forces for innovation and entrepreneurship. The province has received fruitful results of "Intelligence Converges in Xiaoxiang."

Standing at the new starting point of the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), Hunan possesses rare strategic opportunities, boundless growth potential, excellent platforms, and profound space for cooperation. The province calls for talents participation more than ever and is better positioned than ever to help talents realize their dreams, which is the perfect time for "Talents Gather in Hunan." Hunan has prepared higher-quality job opportunities, more generous startup packages, and more thoughtful service guarantees, with a stronger focus on youth-friendly policies, the integration of science and industry, and targeted support for contract signing and business establishment. The provincial authority sincerely invites everyone to "stay in Hunan or come to Hunan" to build a shared future. Let us walk hand in hand with Hunan as we pursue our dreams and realize our ideals, and together compose a brilliant chapter of youth through this mutual journey, the governor added.
