Recently, the Hainan Free Trade Port Coordination Service Center—jointly established by the Zhuzhou City Construction Development Group and the Hainan Logistics Group—was unveiled in Zhuzhou, marking that logistics cooperation between Hunan and Hainan has entered a substantive operational phase.

With the China-Africa Economic and Trade Inland Port as a core carrier, the center will focus on undertaking key functions such as extending the port functions of the Hainan Free Trade Port, implementing and transforming policies, fostering industrial synergy, and coordinating logistics channels. The center serves as both a frontier window for Zhuzhou to connect with the Hainan Free Trade Port and a vital bridge for Hainan enterprises to expand into the inland market.

A spokesperson for the Zhuzhou City Construction Development Group stated that the group will establish a dedicated task force to accelerate the formation of a joint venture, deepen and solidify logistics cooperation between Hunan and Hainan. The group will take this collaboration as an opportunity to jointly build a pioneering two-way foreign trade corridor linking the two provinces, thereby creating a model for cooperation between state-owned enterprises in Hunan and Hainan. Additionally, the group will expand opportunities for full-industry-chain synergy. Leveraging the newly established Hainan Free Trade Port Coordination Service Center as a platform, the group will extend cooperation into areas such as the low-altitude economy, the Beidou industry, and the integration of culture and tourism, fully unleashing potentials for collaboration.

A spokesperson for the Hainan Logistics Group noted that the two sides can leverage the "Hunan–Hainan–Overseas" international logistics chain to focus on the two-way circulation of agricultural and industrial products. Efforts will be made to deepen cooperation between the two provinces in joint inspection and mutual recognition, information sharing, and government service connectivity, jointly promoting the co-construction and interconnection of logistics industrial parks, and building a golden cross-border logistics corridor between Hunan and Hainan.
