The Changsha Huanghua International Airport announced that starting March 29, flights between Changsha and Hong Kong will undergo a major upgrade. The previous mixed schedule of daytime and nighttime flights will be replaced with a single daily direct daytime flight, reducing the one-way journey to just about one hour and 40 minutes. This adjustment will spare passengers from late-night flights, offering a more comfortable and hassle-free travel experience. It will also significantly enhance the convenience of connecting flights from Changsha to destinations worldwide via Hong Kong.
According to the new flight schedule, outbound flight CX309 departs at 12:05 PM every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving in Hong Kong at 1:40 PM or 1:45 PM on the same day. On Thursdays, flight CX927 departs at 1:05 PM and arrives at 2:45 PM. Return flights depart on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with flight CX330 at 9:35 AM, arriving in Changsha at 11:05 AM. On Thursdays, flight CX314 takes off at 10:35 AM and lands at 12:05 PM.

From now on, travelers departing from Changsha can enjoy more convenient connections to the global air route network via the Hong Kong International Airport. They can leave for major cities like New York, London, and Sydney on the same day, or connect to popular tourist destinations such as Phuket and Surabaya.
Changsha Airport has partnered with Cathay Pacific to offer "through check-in" service, creating a seamless travel experience. Passengers holding a Cathay Pacific connecting flight ticket with a layover time of less than 24 hours can obtain boarding passes for both segments at Changsha Airport in one go. Their luggage will be checked through to the final destination, ensuring a hassle-free transfer.
