The Luhong River Grand Bridge crossing over Yiyang-Zhanjiang Railway in Yongzhou City completed the construction of its steel cover beam on January 12, laying a solid foundation for follow-up girder erection. The bridge is a part of the Shaoyang-Yongzhou High-speed Railway. It is constructed by the China Railway 25th Bureau Group, with a total length of 3,050 meters. Crossing over an expressway, a railway, a provincial highway, and a river, it is one of the most challenged projects along the Shaoyang-Yongzhou High-speed Railway. So far, 90% of the main structural work on the bridge has been completed.
