Over 2,000 mu (about 133.33 hectares) of late rice fields operated by a professional cooperative in Datonghu District of Yiyang City in central China's Hunan Province have entered harvest season.
Qiu Bin, a "post-90s" man, returned to his hometown of Wangjiahu Village in Heba Town in 2019 to take over the cooperative founded by his father Qiu Guoqing.
Qiu Bin has applied more machinery and unmanned aerial vehicle equipment in seedling cultivation, farming, management, harvesting, and storage to improve rice planting efficiency and refine management. The quality and yield of rice in his cooperative have thus been enhanced.
