Li marked that Yueyang is recognized as a regional center city of the country and a sub-center city of Hunan Province, renowned for its long history, superior geographical location, robust industries, favorable eco-environment, and high livability and appeal to visitors. Yueyang is currently accelerating its pace in developing a "1+3+X" modern industrial system.
As both regional industrial cities, transportation and logistics hubs, and famous historical and cultural cities, Yueyang and Juiz de Fora have aligned industrial development goals, and share broad prospects for cooperation, he added. He expressed hope that the two cities would establish a regular communication mechanism to strengthen non-governmental interactions and exchanges and further deepen practical cooperation in economy and trade, education, culture, tourism, and other fields, with the aim of achieving mutual complementarity and win-win development.
