Recently, the final special container was steadily loaded by a ship-to-shore crane onto a liner ship at the Yueyang Chenglingji Port. This marked the completion of loading for the first batch of prefabricated houses of the Broad Sustainable Building Technology Co., Ltd., which are now bound for overseas markets. This shipment comprised 273 containerized prefabricated buildings with a total value of approximately 125 million CNY. After going through customs clearance procedures at the Yueyang Customs Authority, the goods were scheduled to be exported to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is Hunan's first export of prefabricated buildings to the Middle Eastern market.
The exported prefabricated building modules, equivalent to a 15-story building with a total area of 16,000 square meters, can accommodate 135 households. Hailed as an outstanding residential project in the Middle East for its energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, comfort, and safety, these prefabricated buildings have successfully passed rigorous joint inspections by multiple local authorities. According to an official from the company, the "holon building" modules use stainless steel core slabs. All structural components, walls, windows, mechanical and electrical systems, and interior finishes are prefabricated in the factory. Transported to the destination via container shipping, the modules are mechanically assembled like building blocks, enabling the delivery of three floors per day. At the request of UAE clients, all fire protection components for this prefabricated buildings must be imported from designated UAE manufacturers, totaling 25 types and over 14,600 pieces.
