Initiated in 2005, the Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference has been held for sixteen sessions over the years. The conference has provided powerful momentum for promoting economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and Taiwan, as well as strengthening bonds among compatriots. The event has become a vital platform for Hunan-Taiwan communication.

Themed "Sharing New Opportunities, Integrating Towards the Future," this year's session consists of one main event and four thematic activities, based on the dual drivers of economic and cultural exchange. The event attracted more than 500 participants, including a delegation of over 400 guests from Taiwan—the largest to visit Hunan in recent years. A total of 42 cooperative projects were signed at the conference, with a total investment of 9.203 billion CNY, covering such fields as intelligent equipment, new energy and new materials, and modern agriculture.
