The Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport will add a Hangzhou-Zhangjiajie-Singapore air route on October 9, to expand its international aviation network and facilitate travel of both Chinese and foreign passengers. This route will be operated by the Zhejiang Loong Airlines, adopting A320/A321 aircraft. Round-trip flights are scheduled on every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Specifically, GJ8997 flight will take off from Hangzhou at 6:30, land in Zhangjiajie at 8:35 and leave at 10:05, and finally arrive in Singapore at 14:45. The return flight GJ8998 will depart from Singapore at 15:45, land in Zhangjiajie at 20:25 and leave at 21:55, and finally reach Hangzhou at 23:50. All times specified are in Beijing Time.
As a pivotal aviation hub and international tourist destination in Southeast Asia, Singapore serves as a critical transit point connecting Asia, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. Its Changi Airport offers direct flights to over 120 destinations worldwide, with an extensive transfer network. Since February 9, 2024, Singapore has implemented a 30-day visa-free entry policy for ordinary passport holders from China, which has greatly facilitated travel for Chinese travelers.
The launch of this route will effectively support Zhangjiajie to build a "world-class tourist destination," and inject new momentum into deepening regional economic and cultural exchanges and promoting high-quality upgrades in tourism. Meanwhile, it will provide more efficient and convenient cross-border travel options for passengers from the three locations along the route.
