The 17th Liuyang Fireworks Culture Festival will take place at the Liuyang Sky Theater from October 24 to 25, according to the Liuyang Fireworks Association. Organized by the association, this year's festival will continue to uphold the concept of "fireworks practitioners hosting the fireworks festival." Through corporate crowdfunding and market-oriented operations, the event seeks to create a spectacular fireworks celebration that blends tradition with the future and integrates technology with art.
The event features rich and diverse programs. On October 24, the opening ceremony and fireworks gala will highlight cultural performances, fireworks display, and a drone show utilizing thousands of drones, aiming to set a new Guinness World Record and offer attendees an immersive "Fireworks+" extravaganza. On October 25, the 6th Liuyang Fireworks Conference (LFC) will invite top teams from around the world to compete.
Additionally, the 5th Hunan-Jiangxi Border Area Fireworks Creative Design Competition will be hosted during the festival, to solicit and promote new eco-friendly fireworks products. For the first time, a daytime fireworks display will be introduced, presenting a breathtaking fusion of fireworks with the natural landscape of the Liuyang River. An "Internet-wide Creative Collaboration" campaign will be carried out to gather innovative ideas. A themed summit will be organized. Representatives from scenic spots and cultural tourism experts will be invited to discuss the mode of "promoting fireworks in scenic areas," boosting cross-border development of the fireworks industry.
