The 6th China (Zhijiang) International Peace Culture Festival will take place at 19:30 on September 4 at Shengli Square in Zhijiang Peach Culture Park. Approximately 4,000 Chinese and foreign guests, as well as representatives from all walks of life will attend. Taking Zhijiang's rich historical heritage as a defining feature and the development of peace culture in the region as the theme, a variety of ethnic cultural performances at the opening ceremony will take place on an open-air stage centered around the Taihe Pagoda. The performances will present a picture of the times, highlighting harmonious engagement and mutual reinforcement.

The 6th China (Zhijiang) International Peace Culture Festival is hosted by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial People's Government, and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The event is undertaken by the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hunan People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, and the Huaihua Municipal People's Government. The organizers include the Publicity Department of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Huaihua Municipal Committee, the Huaihua Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports, the CPC Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County Committee, and the Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County People's Government.

Approximately 100 guests have been specially invited to participate in the festivities, including representatives of Chinese and international experts and scholars in peace culture studies, Chinese veterans and their families, descendants of U.S. Flying Tigers veterans, international friendly personages, young international student representatives studying in China, delegates from International Cities of Peace and sister cities, and representatives of the business community. They will gather in Zhijiang to discuss pathways for peaceful development and witness the solid and sustained growth of Zhijiang's "peace culture."

The festival spans political, cultural, and experiential dimensions, featuring a diverse array of events including a press conference, meetings with foreign guests, night tours, an opening ceremony, ethnic cultural performances, as well as symposia on peace culture exchanges and agreement signing. These activities are designed to offer Chinese and international guests a comprehensive experience of Zhijiang's profound peace culture heritage. While conveying to the world the message of "remembering history and cherishing peace," the festival also highlights Zhijiang's rapid development and the warmth of the Dong ethnic people.
