On August 25, Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met in Changsha with an overseas Chinese media delegation led by Li Dahong, chairman of the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group (HKTKWW). 

Secretary Shen welcomed the delegation on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. He extended gratitude to the overseas Chinese media outlets for their long-term support to Hunan's development, and briefed the guests on Hunan's conditions. Secretary Shen stated that, Hunan is currently forging ahead towards the direction set by President Xi Jinping, accelerating progress in achieving the blueprint outlined in the "Three Hubs and Four New Mission" Strategy.The relatively low living cost, quality education and healthcare services, and solid industrial foundation of Hunan, especially Changsha City, have been attractive for young people. Leveraging these advantages, Hunan has been focusing on the work such as facilitating employment of college graduates and building Changsha into a global R&D center city, taking solid steps to advance the high-quality development. Secretary Shen expressed his hope to take the interview tour by the overseas Chinese media outlets as an opportunity to promote and showcase Hunan Province, creating a favorable environment for enhancing Hunan's high-quality development. 

Li Dahong expressed his appreciation for Hunan's support to HKTKWW. He mentioned that, in recent years, Hunan's remarkable achievements in economic and social development have continuously provided rich materials for overseas Chinese media outlets to tell Chinese stories well. He expressed expectation to start from this interview tour, showcasing Hunan's accomplishments in sci-tech innovation, culture, tourism, and other fields to the world, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the province.
