On the evening of August 18, many parents brought their children to enjoy the fun of splashing water in a cheerful atmosphere at the Changsha Fantawild Oriental Heritage Theme Park.
During the summer vacation, the Dai-style Water Splashing Festival at the theme park has become a top choice for family outings. Held twice daily, in the afternoon and evening, the festival immerses participants in vibrant Dai culture. At the event, staff members dressed in colorful traditional Dai costumes led the crowd in lively Dai dances, while the melodious sound of the hulusi (a traditional musical instrument) filled the air, enhancing the cultural atmosphere. When the signal was given, adults and children alike, equipped with basins and water guns, joyfully splashed water at one another. Strangers and friends alike let go of their inhibitions amidst the splashing waves, freely enjoying the moment. The children were particularly thrilled, running around and laughing. They were completely drenched yet utterly carefree, and their faces were glowing with pure delight.
The festival will continue until the end of August.
