On August 8, fruit farmers were busy sorting and packaging "Miliang No.1" kiwi fruits at a kiwi fruit orchard in Hongshilin Town, Guzhang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.

Recently, Guzhang's kiwi fruits have been delivered to Russia and Oman via cold-chain transportation, securing export orders worth 3.5893 million CNY. This marked a breakthrough in Guzhang's cross-border trade of agricultural products.

The Guzhang County Authority has thoroughly rolled out a "private sector revitalizing the county" initiative. The local trade company has collaborated with Alibaba International to promote kiwi fruits from the Wuling mountainous area to the overseas markets, helping more than 500 fruit-growing households increase their income.

In recent years, Guzhang County has focused its efforts on aspects such as industry, consumption, and employment, to enhance rural revitalization. The "private sector revitalizing the county" initiative has mobilized over 300 million CNY to boost industrial development, helping farmers increase their per capita income by 4,000 CNY. A special tourist route from Changsha to Guzhang featuring "tea-tourism study tour" was launched, which has received 503,000 trips and generated tourist revenue of 120 million CNY. More than one thousand of local residents got employed near their homes, with total earnings hitting 50 million CNY annually.
