The 2025 Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) is scheduled to take place in Changsha from May 15 to 18. According to the organizing committee, the CICEE is known as one of the most influential exhibitions in the global construction machinery industry, and the 2025 CICEE has a larger exhibition area than the previous three sessions. More than 1,800 enterprises from over 60 countries and regions will gather in Changsha to showcase latest achievements and development trends in the field of construction machinery.
In order to promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation among international merchants, the 2025 CICEE has specially invited professional purchasing delegations from regions with high demand for construction machinery, such as RCEP, India, and Africa. Six international business seminars will be organized. So far, the organizing committee has received applications from the first batch of 68 international business associations and purchasing delegations.
As an important market in Southeast Asia, Vietnam has a significant demand for construction machinery. This year multiple Vietnamese business associations will organize enterprise representatives to participate in the event, covering a wide range of fields including construction machinery and excavating machinery. In addition, many executives from well-known enterprises are included in the list of Vietnamese buyers and will attend the event in person. Their purchasing needs primarily focus on construction machinery, concrete machinery, earthmoving machinery, and material crushing equipment. Products such as concrete mixers, excavators, and lifting equipment are highly sought after.
Business associations from construction and mining industries in Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines will also actively organize groups to participate in the upcoming exhibition. These associations have shown a strong demand for products such as small agricultural machinery, concrete machinery, lifting equipment, and mining machinery. They are actively promoting cooperation with Chinese companies in the areas of technology, equipment, and market expansion, and are committed to strengthening regional exchanges and cooperation to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
According to data from the organizing committee, the purchase intention of international buyers shows a diversified trend, covering multiple fields such as construction machinery, mining machinery, road machinery, municipal engineering, and agricultural machinery. 35% of international buyers expressed their intention to purchase construction machinery, marking the highest proportion, while 32% of them plan to buy mining machinery. This fully reflects the huge market potential in the global infrastructure construction and resource development sectors.
