The establishment of the Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership in tourism between Hunan Province and South Carolina will serve to the visits and mutual tourism promotion in the future, and will make substantial influence for Hunan to develop the high end tourist market in Europe and America, said Liu Zhiming, deputy director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Administration, when he was in the 2008 China International Travel Mart in Shanghai.
Hunan Provincial Tourism Administration and the counterpart of South Carolina of U.S. officially established the friendship, cooperation and partnership in tourism yesterday afternoon. According to the agreement, the exchanges and cooperation on tourism for the aspects of marketing & promotion, personnel training & communication, resource developing and products integrating, investment & management, and information exchanges and sharing will be held in various forms between the two parties. And the related principals and departments will keep in touch on the issues of common concern.
Meanwhile, China signed strategic cooperation agreement on tourism with U.S., which symbolized the official establishment of a long-term mechanism on cooperative development of tourism between the two countries.
In the signing ceremony yesterday, ten provincial or municipal tourism administrations in China have signed cooperation agreements on tourism with 10 American states. Hunan Province is among the list.
