The Hunan Ecology and Environmental Department, the Marche Representative Office in China (Hunan), and some supporting organizations, spared no effort to promote bilateral cooperation. With these efforts, Yueyang Haifeng Environmental Protection Co., Ltd, which shares the same legal person and shareholders with the Italy HEPT (Beijing) Co., Ltd., signed an investment agreement with the Miluo Circular Economic Industrial Park, on an industrial waste comprehensive utilization and disposal project in Miluo.
Pan marked that, Hunan and Marche’s exchange and cooperation broadened Hunan’s view on environmental protection, provided knowledge and experience, and improved its ecological and environmental protection and supervision. HEPT Group is an Italian state-owned enterprise on environmental services, and a leader in garbage and dangerous waste disposal business in Europe. He hoped HEPT would assist Hunan in ecological progress, and pollution control and management, with its advanced technology and management experience.
Cristiano Varotti mentioned about Italy’s environmental protection technologies in the areas of air purification, soil remediation, waste management, and dangerous waste utilization and disposal.
After the signing ceremony, the Hunan Ecology and Environment Department and the Marche Representative Office in China (Hunan) talked about cooperation in 2019. They will collaborate in pushing forward the progress of contracted projects, organizing ecological and environmental management training, and discussing low-carbon technology research. Related memorandum of cooperation will be submitted to Chinese and Italian government respectively.
