Xu Beihong’s Nanyang Period Works Debut in Changsha

On the morning of April 27, an exhibition displaying 113 original works executed by Xu Beihong during his stay in Nanyang (1939-1942) opened at the Meilun Art Museum, Changsha. Nanyang is an old name for Southeast Asia. These works were exhibited for the first time. They covered a wide range of subjects, including flowers, birds, animals, figures, and calligraphy.
The exhibition will last until June 15.
Date: April 27-June 15 (Tuesday-Sunday; 9:00-17:00; doors close at 16:30)
Venue: Meilun Art Museum (Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House, No. 622, Section 1, East 2nd Ring Road, Changsha)

-Take any of the following buses: No. 103, X116, 121, 148, 321, 502, 705, or 801 and get off at the Gaoqiao Grand Market West Station [高桥大市场西站].
-Take Changsha Metro Line 2 and get off at Jintai Square [锦泰广场站], and then take any of the following buses: No. 801, 502, 103, or X116 to get off at the Gaoqiao Grand Market West Station [高桥大市场西站].
