On March 2, Hunan Governor Xu Dazhe went to Yiyang and Changde to inspect poverty alleviation, flood prevention and preparation, spring ploughing production, and work on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. He asked to advance both epidemic prevention and control work and economic and social development; strive to achieve the development goals and tasks of the year; and, build a well-off society in an all-round way. 

Hunan Vice Governor Sui Zhongcheng joined the tour.

Governor Xu inspected the progress of the risk mitigation project at the Yangjiao gate section of the Xiaohekou on the Zijiang dyke in Heshan District, Yiyang City. He urged the responsible comrades of Yiyang City to strictly prevent the rebound of epidemic situation when advancing resumption of work and production; eliminate hidden dangers and prepare for floods and disasters; and, effectively respond to possible floods.

Governor Xu watched a rice seeding thrower demonstrating seedling throwing at high speed and in an orderly manner, which is newly produced by Zoomlion Intelligent Agricultural Machinery Industrial Park. He expected the enterprises to continue to improve product performance and control costs; provide more high-quality and cheap agricultural machinery; and, contribute to the provincial agricultural modernization and mechanization. He also inspected Hanshou Vegetable Industrial Park and other places.
