On April 18th, the ‘International Cooperation Forum on Resources and Environment, 2009’, is to be held on the picturesque Orange Islet. This is a high-level international meeting, focusing on the pilot area construction in Hunan, which is authorized by China’s Central Government to construct a ‘Two-oriented’ society. In the meantime, Hunan also makes clear ‘Four Bottom Lines’ to be kept to, i.e., Grain Production, Ecological Environment, Energy Conservation & Efficiency Improvement, and People’s Well-being.
