In order to support construction of Wuhan-Guangzhou passenger special line, make overall plans for relevant supporting facilities of public transport, bring convenience to passengers and ensure non-transfer transportation, underground supporting traffic facilities project of Wuhan-Guangzhou passenger special line Changsha Station are made out according to requirements of urban planning.
Changsha new station of Wuhan-Guangzhou passenger special line is located in Lituo Town, Yuhua District. West Square is 550 meters long from south to north and 180 meters wide from east to west with a total area of 10 hectares. The Square is a new-type transport hub of high-speed railway, subway and non-transfer of public transport. Surrounding it, there is bus station, coach station, subway station, parking lot and underground shopping mall. Underground shopping mall is located in basement with ground height of -5m, floor height of 5m. Its construction area is about 13,500㎡; deducting area of passenger way of 3500㎡, its commercial area is about 10000m2 . This area will be the center of transport hub. It is estimated that passenger flow of new Changsha Station will reach 24.04 million in 2018 and will increase to 33.91 million in 2028. It is applicable for operation modes of shopping mall, supermarket and linkage store etc. to provide special products, tour, leisure and catering service.
