Project content: Close to the provincial capital of Changsha and located at the exit of Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway, New East Area of Yiyang Hi-tech Zone is 40km away from Changsha, 20km away from Yiyang Port and 60km away from Changsha Huanghua International Airport, and links Changsha Yuelu Valley and west industrial corridor of Ningxiang and Wangcheng. It is an important part of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city group, which is approved by the State Council as a comprehensive coordinated reform experimental region for the construction of “resource saving and environment friendly” society. With a medium and long-term planned area of 140km2, this area shall be built into a new industrial city of Yiyang. The near-term planned area is 12km2. The Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have made a decision to build New East Area of Yiyang Hi-tech Zone into a core area for accepting the processing trade gradient transfer, it shall focus on accepting the six industries including new material, new energy, equipment manufacture, electronic information, clothes, shoes and caps and food processing. Yiyang’s industrial group shall be enlarged and strengthened. New East Area of Yiyang Hi-tech Zone has become an ideal place for the gradient industry transfer.
At present, the water supply of the enterprises in New East Area mainly depends on local water source, partial enterprises obtain water supply from No.3 Waterworks of Yiyang City. With more and more enterprises settled in this area, the water supply from No.3 Waterworks cannot satisfy the need. In order to solve the problem of water supply for the enterprises and residents, we intend to absorb funds for the construction of the waterworks in New East Area. With a design water supply capacity of 200,000t/d and a near-term capacity of 100,000t/d, the project has invested RMB 20 million in building the pipe network. The project enjoys relevant preferential policies granted by the central government, provincial government, municipal government and Hi-tech Zone.
