Lengshuijiang Bochang Holdings Group Co., Ltd, the largest taxpayer in Lengshuijiang city and the second largest taxpayer in Loudi city, is a collection of iron and steel metallurgy, machinery manufacturing, energy and coal chemical industry, logistics and trade, construction and installation and real estate development in one large Holdings Group Co., Ltd. Bochang Holdings has ranked NO.13 in the provincial top 100 enterprises of Hunan and NO.262 in the national top 500 Manufacturing Enterprise of China since 2005. In 2006, the Group reached a total assets of 3.218 billion RMB, also with a producion capacity of 1.83 million tons of pig iron, 1,880,000 tons of steel billet, 1,340,000 tons of steel, 4.726 billion RMB of sales revenue, more than 6 billion RMB annual profits and taxes and the net assets over one billion RMB.
The project consists of project of stove membrane oxygen enrichment for combustion, project of high-voltage inverter of spindle blower in sintering plant, project of cooling and abandonance of the sinter and electricity generation by utilizing the Low-temperature heat of the converter. The total investment of the project is 143.5 million RMB and the payback period is 2 years.
Hunan Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Technology Service Center is taking overall responsibility for the implementation of the project.

1. Oxygen enrichment combustion-supporting technology based on the furnace practice in the air heating furnace
Oxygen enrichment combustion-supporting technology will be implemented for the 4 blast furnaces and 12 air heating furnaces. The air temperature will be increased by 50℃, and coke ratio reduced by 12kg/t, and coal injection increased by 15kg/t. The expected total investment is 60 million RMB with annual revenue of 75.24 million RMB and the payback period is 10 months.
2: Energy saving and pollution reduction project form spindle fan high voltage frequency in sintering plant
The project aims to save electricity from the transformation of spindle fan high voltage frequency in sintering plant. The power of two high voltage motors is 4004KW and the total investment of the project will be 7 million RMB yuan. The annual revenue from energy saving will be 3.5 million and the investment will be recovered in 2 years.
Section 3: Energy saving and pollution reduction project from low temperature waste heat power generation of cooling process in sinter and converter process.
A 9MW low temperature waste heat power generation will be built using the waste gas in cooling process in sinter and low temperature saturated steam in steel plant. During the operation period, the Lengshuijiang Steel Group will saving electricity of 5562 kwh each year,i.e. 0.225 billion kg standard coal and the net revenue will be 30.59 million RMB yuan. The total investment of the project will be 76.50 million RMB yuan which will be recovered in 2.5 years.
