Dashanchong Forest Park is the state-owned woodland of Changsha County. It covers an area of 419.4 hectare including waterside area of 15.9 hectare. It has been approved by Hunan Provincial People’s Government in 2006 and can be constructed to be provincial forest park. Its landscape resources are assessed to be the second grade. It has convenient transportation. Provincial highway S207 passes through its front entrance. It is 20km away from Huanghua International Airport and 30km away from downtown and harbor of Changsha. It can be developed into forest park of daily tour or suburb type. At present, the constructed business reception center can serve 30 thousand people. The Project intends to construct three Areas including Management & Service Area, Popular Science Education Area and Leisure & Reception Area in the scenic spot at present and will construct Amusement & Recreation Area and Summer Resort Area in future. The government will provide financial input to Vegetative Landscape Project, Protection Project, touring road and infrastructure etc. Restaurant, accommodation, leisure and other service & amusement facilities will be developed through promoting investment, and entrusted investors are responsible for development, construction and operation. It is estimated that its tourists at the construction year are up to 157 thousand and will increase 15% every year, and at the late construction period, its tourists will reach 4.8 million per year and then become stable gradually.
Total Investment of the Project: approx. USD10 million for short term, approx. USD21.43-42.86 million for long term.
