Jinxiashan Forest Park is located at the northeast of Yisuhe town of Xiangtan County, with the Xiangjiang River flowing to its north, the downtown of Yisuhe standing to its west, the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway connecting its south, and Dongqu nestling against it in the east. The Jinxiashan Mount, whose highest peak has an altitude of 152m,belongs to one of the Nanyue Mountain range’s 72 peaks. A forest of trees grows in the fertile soil of the hillsides. The Longxing Temple at the foot of Jinxia is very popular for visitors and Buddhist pilgrims. Seeing from the mount, you can get a good view of the Xiangjiang River, and the downtowns of Zhuzhou and Xiangtan. The park is designed to be as wide as more than 1,800 mu, and to be built in stage according to the standard of provincial forest parks, collecting functions of tourism, leisure, and entertainment. Meanwhile, we are planning to build Sports Park of Xiangtan County which occupies 225mu with a floor area of 41,100 m2, and a new gymnasium as broad as 9,000m2 (with halls of basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis). Meanwhile, amusement installations and supporting facilities such as water and power supply, roads, plating, and fire protection will also be built.
