Taking archaizing leisure-entertainment as its theme, this project has the recovery of ancient architecture and deserted sites of the historical celebrities as its main content, so as to build a cultural tourist area highlighting both the Hunanese culture and its landscape in a combination of historical & humanistic views, the scene of the old castle, and leisure and entertainment. To realize these goals, the following measures are to be taken: 1. to repair the renowned Datangxing Temple which was originally built in the Tang Dynasty, including the repair of its pailou, main hall, stone tower with six corners and iron wrap rings, drum tower, attics, and pavilions; 2. to repair the one-thousand-year old flagstone path of the Yaowan old city in Yuhu District, the relics and ancient groups of buildings, so as to re-show the favor of it nicknamed as Micro-Nanjing; 3. to repair other relics, such as Tanbao Bus Station which is one of the first four RC bus stations in our country, Home of Aiujin, Wangheng Pavilion, the odl Tangxing Bridge and the tomb of Taokan which also have a history of over 1,000 years, and the tomb of He, Tengjiao; 4. to construct Datangxing Temple Leisure-entertainment street around Baimahu, the largest high-taste Tang-Dynasty style leisure-entertainment street assembling catering, and entertainment in the Chang-Zhu-Tan region.
