National Longping Hi-tech Park, from Changsha County in the east, Liuyang River in the south, Beijing-Zhuzhou Expressway in the west and Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone in the north, is located in the east of Furong District, Changsha City, Hunan. The planning area amounts to 18 km2. It is endowed with convenient transportation and excellent location with 5 km away from Changsha Railway Station, 10 km away from Huanghua International Airport, 15 km away from New Changsha Port and near Beijing-Zhuzhou Expressway, State Highway 107 and 219. The Park is named after Yuan Longping, father of hybrid rice and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Hence it has outstanding brand advantage. It also enjoys all preferential policy of national development zone and flexible policy of the District. There are over 20 scientific research institutions such as Hunan Agricultural University and Hunan Agricultural Sciences College, and it gathers talents and results of scientific research. The Project adheres to service policy of “everything for enterprises, everything for the park and development”. It has excellent development environment.
Longping Hi-tech Park intends to construct Longping headquarter base. At present, it has gained 200 hectare land with legal procedures and has finished general layout of the headquarter base. In addition, land relocation and infrastructure are all under implementation. The Project intends to introduce enterprises of Global Top 500, China Top 500, large listing companies and famous enterprises to set up group headquarters, regional headquarters, research & development centers, marketing centers and settlement centers at the Park of Longping Headquarter. In addition, it will introduce all kinds of supporting service industries such as finance, commerce & trade, education, dwelling, leisure and catering etc. so as to create a new modern and industrial city.
