Founded in the year of 1997, Xiangtan Municipal Jiaotong Automobile Driving School is a shared enterprise, and also an integrated second-grade driving school with the greatest strength in Xiangtan. After ten years of development, a fairly large scale has been formed, and three subsidiary schools are formed in Xiangxiang, Shaoshan and Xiangtan County. By the end of 2005, the total asserts reached more than 20 million Yuan, there were 50 new cars for coaching, 2,600 square meters of space for school dormitory and office building, and more than 40,000 square meters for training. Now, it has got the whole set of computerized teaching facilities and excellent teaching conditions. This project is designed to expropriate 149.7 mu of land and contract 248.3 mu of waste mountains, train 10,000 drivers and give driving examination to 50,000 persons a year. It is also to invest in some recreation and leisure items, and also in the building of a summer villa.
