On the first day, the delegation visited the Xie Zilong Photography Museum, and the Li Zijian Art Museum. On the following four days, they will visit the Yuelu Academy, the Hunan Museum, Zoomlion, Sany, Broad Group, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive, Chairman Mao’s Childhood Residence, and Liu Shaoqi Memorial Hall. The tour allows them to see Hunan’s changes, new pattern, and its new image after its 70-year development since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949. It will present Hunan’s charming culture, strength in innovation and opening up, and the new image of its red historical sites, to the world.
Dong Bacui, editor in chief of the United News of the Philippines, and an overseas Chinese representative who was invited to attend the National Day Parade in Beijing on Oct. 1, started his tour in the Orange Isle. He said, “I am proud of the prosperity and strength of my motherland, and also impressed by Hunan’s development and changes.” He has visited Hunan twice. This time he will focus on Hunan’s folk customs and social development and will present his reactions to the Philippine people.
