Changsha Metro Line 1 Starts Test Run

Metro Line 1 (PhaseⅠ) launched a test run on the afternoon of Jan. 20, 2016. The test train went a round trip between Kaifu District Government Station and Shangshuangtang Station, going thorugh the whole course successfully. A new round of test run for all of the trains used for this Line will start soon.

The running test aimed to test all of the functions of this Line one by one based on design requirements, including the signal, vehicle, and operation systems. It was learnt that the decoration of the 20 stations along the Metro Line 1 was in full swing and was estimated to be completed around March.

The Changsha Metro Line 1 (PhaseⅠ) starts from Kaifu District Government Station in the north and ends up at Shangshuangtang Station in the south, stretching under the Furong Avenue. Passengers can transfer to Line 2 at Wuyi Square Station.
