Hunan Art Museum Opening Exhibition Kicks off

On September 28, the Hunan Art Museum opening exhibition — the 6th Fine Arts Exhibition of All Painting Academies of China in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China opened. Zhang Hongsen, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, announced the opening of the exhibition. More than 200 people from Chinese circle of literature and art participated in the opening ceremony of the museum. 
The exhibition features 587 works with high standards, including traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, engraving, sculpture, calligraphy, and seal cutting. It will open to the public till October 18. 
The Hunan Art Museum is located at the intersection of Xiaoxiang Avenue and Jinjiang Road. It is adjacent to Central South University and faces the Orange Isle across the Xiangjiang River. It covers an area of more than 50,000 square meters and has a construction area of over 24,700 square meters. The total investment is 398 million CNY. It is composed of several areas for exhibition, public service, academic seminar, collection management, and administrative work.

Take Bus No. 239, 311, 388, or 908 and get off at Xiaoxiang Road Intersection of Jinjiang Road.
