Governor Xu Meets CASC Guests

Xu Dazhe, Hunan governor, met in Changsha with Yuan Jie, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) general manager on January 8, 2020.


Governor Xu welcomed his former colleague. He said, “China’s aerospace industry has achieved fruitful results in the past year. Among a series of exciting major scientific and technological achievements mentioned by President Xi Jinping in the New Year speech, three were mainly completed by CASC. We are happy for that.” He expected CASC to give full play to its advantages in the fields of aerospace, intelligent and information technologies; further promote the development of space science, technology, and application industries to break through more key technologies; and, intensify investment in and cooperation with Hunan to introduce more enterprises to settle in Hunan and better serve Hunan’s economic and social development. Hunan would deepen collaboration with CASC, in order to promote more scientific research and technological achievements application projectsunleash complementary advantages, and achieve mutual benefits.

General Manager Yuan thanked the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province for their long-term and strong support for CASC. He then introduced the recent development and expansion of CASC and its subsidiaries in Hunan. He remarked that Hunan has a solid industrial foundation and unique advantages in technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing. CASC would further strengthen pragmatic cooperation with Hunan; support affiliated enterprises and Hunan enterprises to expand cooperation; contribute to promoting high-quality development in Hunan; and, achieve better and faster development with joint efforts.
