Xie Jianhui Meets with Ghana Guests

Xie Jianhui, CPC Hunan Provincial Standing Committee member and executive vice governor, met in Changsha with Opare, Republic of Ghana Presidency General Office director, on November 21, 2019. 
Xie Jianhui welcomed the guests on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province. She said that in recent years, Hunan has implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; responded to the “Belt and Road” initiative; and, practiced innovation-oriented opening up strategy. Hunan has maintained a stable and positive economic and social development. In this June, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha, which effectively promoted exchanges between Hunan and Ghana. She expected the two sides to strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, agriculture, and mining, and establish friendly-city relationships to promote more cooperation between Hunan and Ghana.
Opare congratulated China on the brilliant achievements made in the past 70 years. She hoped both sides would carry out pragmatic cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, information, and industrial parks, and accelerate friendly-city relation establishment, and strive to achieve win-win results.
