It has withstood the test of time, and been further cemented. He noted that China highly appreciates Cambodia’s firm supports on issues involving China's core interests, and is willing to further strengthen inter-party exchanges with Cambodia; enhance political mutual trust; expand pragmatic cooperation; and, close cultural exchanges, in a bid to promote continuous development of China-Cambodia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and better benefit the people of the two countries.

He noted that Hunan is an agricultural and economic powerhouse, and an important base for advanced manufacturing in China. It has a sound basis and great potentials for exchange and cooperation with Cambodia. Through this visit, Hunan and Cambodia may strengthen communication and cooperation in such fields as modern agriculture, construction machinery, rail transit, cultural tourism, and infrastructure construction, to contribute to the building of an unbreakable China-Cambodia community of shared future, he added.

Hun Sen asked Secretary Du to convey his sincere greetings to President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. He congratulated CPC on uniting and leading people across the country to create remarkable achievements over the past seven decades. He sincerely thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to Cambodia. He believed that China is an intimate partner of Cambodia with deep mutual trust. CPC’s experience in governing the party and the country has provided more inspirations to CPP. China's development has not only improved the Chinese people’s living standards, but also created good development opportunities for neighboring countries. The two countries have agreed an action plan to build a community of shared future between China and Cambodia. Cambodia is stepping up efforts to coordinate China’s “Belt and Road” initiative and Cambodia’s “Rectangular Strategy”, and actively pushing forward negotiations on the Cambodia-China free trade agreement. He expected that the inter-party exchanges will be further strengthened; the inter-government relations will be consolidated; the cooperation at all levels and in all fields will be carried out; and, people-to-people exchanges continue to be expanded. The relationship between the two parties and the two countries will continue to develop in a multi-channel and multi-angle way.
