The Changsha Metro Group announced on May 8 that Exits 1 and 5 of Wuyi Square Station, the transfer station for Lines 1 and 2, would be temporarily closed starting from 22:00 on the same day for approximately two months of renovation. This initiative aims to improve the station's service quality. The station's Exits 2, 4, 7, and 8 have already undergone phased renovation and are now open to the public.

During the renovation period, Exits 1 and 5 will be fenced off, with additional public broadcasting services and signs provided. Passengers are advised to plan their itinerary in advance and enter and leave the station according to station instructions.
