The local asymptomatic cases included 146 in Changsha, 27 in Shaoyang, 26 in Loudi, 22 in Zhuzhou, 20 in Chenzhou, 18 in Huaihua, 18 in Xiangxi, 14 in Hengyang, 14 in Yiyang, 14 in Yongzhou, 13 in Changde, 10 in Xiangtan, 8 in Zhangjiajie, and 2 in Yueyang. There were 2 new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 137 new cases out of quarantine. There were 3,039 people under medical observation (including 9 imported cases).
Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on December 2, 2022, a total of 994 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 78 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 318 patients hospitalized (including 8 imported cases), and no severe cases. Six hundred and seventy-six patients were discharged from hospitals (including 70 imported cases). No people had died.
